The Journal of Advanced Military Studies (JAMS) offers a forum for open dialogue between scholars, policy makers, analysts, and military leaders and of crossing civilian-military boundaries to advance knowledge and solve problems. For more information about submitting an article or a book review, click on the Acquisitions button.

JAMS is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Fall 2020 JAMS: Naval Integration and the Future of Naval Warfare (deadline 31 July 2020)
Spring 2021 JAMS: Political Warfare and Propaganda in the Digital Age (deadline 31 December 2020)

In addition to the above CFPs, the editors are also interested in new research for 2021-22 that discusses propaganda and information warfare in the digital age, political warfare, democracy and the changing nature of government, PME and wargaming, mission command, and all things cyber. Article proposals and submission can be sent to mcu_press@usmcu.edu.
