About

The Commandant of the Marine Corps established the Senior Leader Development Program (SLDP) in 2004 in order to provide structure to the professional growth and assignment strategy of General Officersand Senior Executive Service personnel. As a source for managing senior leader educational matters, the SLDP serves as the advocate for GO/SES continuing educational opportunities. On 08 March 2017 the Senior Leader Development Program was re-named the Executive Education Program (EEP) via Green Letter 1-17 and updated 13 May 2020 via Green Letter 1-20.   The most recent update on 15 December 2022 by White Letter 1-22 expanded the program to Senior Enlisted serving at the General Officer level.
