Making MarineNet Accessible
CDET has fielded learning resource centers (LRCs) in each region to provide MarineNet access to Marines who do not have an internet-connected computer available to them regularly.
Each LRC contains 20 to 40 computer workstations which are available during and after normal working hours. These LRCs are staffed with facilitators—full-time personnel who can help students access online training, testing, and general information. Unique to the LRCs, the facilitators function as proctors for those MarineNet course exams requiring supervised testing.
