Paul Westermeyer

Paul Westermeyer is a historian with the History Division of the United States Marine Corps, a position he has held since 2005. Prior to this he was a history instructor for eight years, during which he taught at The Ohio State University, Columbus State University, Hillsborough Community College, Otterbein University, and Franklin University. He is the recipient of Marine Corps Heritage Foundation's Brigadier General Edwin Simmons-Henry I. Shaw Award for 2015 for his book U.S. Marines in the Gulf War, 1990–1991: Liberating Kuwait.
