Relief & Appointment (8 Jul 2025). Education Command / Marine Corps University bids farewell to SgtMaj Stephen J. Lutz Jr. as he relinquishes his billet to SgtMaj George Garcia III, former director of the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Camp Pendleton. MCU hosted Joint Staff J-7 Faculty Development "Summer Camp" to support educators across the Joint Force in developing military learners' abilities to achieve overmatch in the continuum of conflict under conditions of accelerating change in the character of war. Topics: Joint All Domain Operations, wargaming, and artificial intelligence, et al. Participants included 75 faculty from: Air University, U.S. Naval War College, The Army University, Naval Postgraduate School, National Defense University, Joint Special Operations University, National Intelligence University, the United States Space Force, Joint Enabling Capabilities Command, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center, and Marine Corps University. Expeditionary Warfare School Class of 2025 Graduation (8 May 2025). During the ceremony, graduates received their diplomas and words of thanks and encouragement from the EWS Director, Col Christopher Steele, and the Guest of Honor / Commanding General of Training and Education Command, LtGen Benjamin Watson. Many of the graduates were recognized for outstanding achievements with awards on behalf of the Marine Corps University Foundation, Marine Corps Association, and more.
