The Next Fight Will Be Faster, Deadlier, and Unlike Any War We’ve Fought Before
For the first time in generations, the United States faces the real possibility of conflict with a peer adversary. Nations like China and Russia are preparing to challenge U.S. interests across the globe. These peer adversaries are developing long-range fires, integrating space and cyber into traditional operations, and building forces designed to strike first and exploit our seams. They intend to deny us the ability to maneuver, to confuse our decision-makers, and to fracture our alliances. The next fight will move across multiple domains—land, sea, air, space, cyber, and information—and unfold faster than ever before.
The Marine Corps Has Been Here Before—And We Know What to Do
The Marine Corps has always adapted in moments like this. We are uniquely agile—small enough to innovate, bold enough to challenge convention, and lethal enough to lead from the front. When the post-WWII military struggled with mobility in the nuclear age, the Marine Corps invented vertical envelopment and pioneered combat helicopter operations—an innovation later adopted by the entire Joint Force. Today is no different. Faced with a multi-domain, complex, fast-paced threat environment, the Marine Corps is once again leading an evolution in how America trains, equips, and educates its warfighters.
JADOs: Built for the Fight Ahead
Joint All-Domain Officers are a new breed of Marine leader—trained to fight across domains, lead inside complex battlespaces, and integrate lethal effects faster than the enemy can respond. These officers must be capable of operating at the highest levels of classification, thinking clearly under pressure, and leading dispersed forces through chaos and uncertainty. They won’t have time to “grow into” their role—they must be educated and ready now. To develop these officers, Marine Corps University must train them in the environment they will fight: fast, complex, and classified.
Victory Demands Urgency. Lethality Requires Investment.
The Marine Corps is evolving at speed. We are building a new kind of warfighter—one who can out-think, out-maneuver, and out-fight any adversary in any domain.
This is our moment to lead. Your support ensures we don’t wait for a crisis to adapt. We prepare now—because that’s how Marines win. With your help, we will train Marines who are ready to fight and win—any domain, any time.
