Major Anthony Sierawski is a Military Faculty Advisor at the Marine Corps Command and Staff College (CSC), where he serves in the Curriculum Development Cell. In this role, he designs and develops classified curriculum focused on Joint All Domain Operations and warfighting.
Major Sierawski has a long-standing association with Marine Corps University, having previously served for three years as an adjunct faculty member with the College of Distance Education, where he instructed the Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS) curriculum. He is also a distinguished graduate of the CSC distance education program.
Major Sierawski holds a Master of Advanced Studies in International Affairs from the University of California San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy, with a specialization in Asia-Pacific security. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame. He is a designated Regional Affairs Officer (RAO) for the Indo-Pacific region and a qualified Operational Advisor.
Throughout his Marine Corps career, Major Sierawski’s leadership assignments have included serving as Security Company Commander for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) while assigned to Presidential Support Duty, Director of the Drill Instructor School at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Executive Officer of 2d Recruit Training Battalion, and in other company-level command and staff positions. He has deployed twice to Afghanistan as an advisor to partner-nation security forces.
His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (second award), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “C” (third award), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Drill Instructor Ribbon (second award), and the Presidential Service Badge.
