Mr. Mark S. Alberts

Mr. Alberts is an experienced Instructional Systems Developer with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective learning solutions for the United States Marine Corps. Specializing in the College of Enlisted Military Education (CEME) program, he excels in all phases of the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process—from comprehensive job and task analysis to the creation of evaluation methods.

His expertise includes developing learning objectives tailored to diverse military audiences, developing detailed lesson plans, student guides, and instructor guidance—all while ensuring alignment with accreditation standards from Palomar College. He is adept at integrating adult learning theories and the psychology of learning into curriculum design, fostering increased combat readiness, and critical and creative thinking skills through scenario-based and real-world content.

He has a strong history of collaborating with subject matter experts and active-duty personnel to produce academically challenging and relevant courseware. Furthermore, he is proficient in maintaining master course files and ensuring compliance with the USMC System Approach to Training. His work has directly contributed to the educational development of active duty and reserve personnel, enhancing their performance and readiness.
