Monika Maslowski serves as the Head, Virtual Branch, Library of the Marine Corps. She is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, implementation, and management of the library management system, subscription electronic resources, digital initiatives, and related support services. The Virtual Branch team supports Marine Corps University (MCU) professional military education (PME) programs and day-to-day Library operations.
Onboarding in 2007 as the library’s first Systems/Cataloging Librarian, she was promoted to Systems Librarian/Web Admin in 2008 and Branch Supervisory Librarian in 2017. As the primary web administrator, she oversees the library’s online presence and manages the official Marine Corps Commandant’s Professional Reading List website.
Ms. Maslowski has volunteered and worked in the library profession for over 30 years, and outside of federal service as a litigation paralegal.
