Expeditionary Warfare School
Major Patrick D. Healy, USMC

Major Healy graduated from the United States Naval Academy in May 2009. After receiving his commission as a Second Lieutenant in May 2009, he attended The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia. Following graduation, he had multiple months of on-the-job-training as the Executive Officer, Marine Corps Detachment Corry Station, NAS Pensacola, FL. Afterward, he attended Flight School in Pensacola, FL.

Upon graduation from Flight School, then-Lieutenant Healy attended the Fleet Replacement Squadron HMLAT-303 for the UH-1Y at Camp Pendleton, CA and attained Pilot Qualified in Model for the UH-1Y.

Then-Captain Healy checked into HMLA-467, MCAS Cherry Point, Havelock, NC and served as a schedule writer, SACO, and Airframes OIC. During his time with HMLA 467, he deployed to OEF 14.1-14.2. HMLA-467 was in support of MAG A from May 2014 until October 2014. He CHOP'd in August of 2016 to VMM-365 and served as the Airframes and Flightline OIC until September of 2017. During his time with VMM-365, he deployed in support of the 24th MEU from February 2017 until September 2017. Afterward, he returned to HMLA-269 and served as the NATOPS OIC until July 2018.

Following his tour with HMLA-269, Captain Healy reported to The Basic School to serve as a primary instructor for the Fires package and as a Staff Platoon Commander for Warrant Officer Basic Course 1-19. Upon promotion to Major, Major Healy assumed command of Headquarters Company, TBS. In July 2020, he reported to the 11th MEU. In August 2021 through March 2022, Maj Healy deployed with the 11th MEU in support of WESTPAC 21.2. From June 2022 – June 2024, Maj Healy served as Executive Officer for 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. June of 2024, Major Healy received orders to Expeditionary Warfare School to serve as a Faculty Advisor.
