Master Gunnery Sergeant Nephtali D. Ricafrente is Deputy Director of the Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Academy.
September 1993, enlisted in the Reserves and went at MCRD San Diego, CA. Attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, transferred to Naval Air Station Meridian, MS and received the MOS 7041 Aviation Operations Specialist.
April 1994, served at Headquarters and Support Battery, 4th Light Anti-Aircraft Missile Battalion, Detachment (4th LAAMBn Det) Hayward, CA. January 1995, served as a Recruiter Aide with Recruiting Station (RS) San Francisco. June 1996, joined the Active Reserves at 4th LAAMBn Det as an Administrator.
October 1998, joined the active component and transferred to Marine Corps Air Facility Kaneohe Bay, HI as an Aviation Operations NCO. September 1999, served as a Corporals Course squad advisor on Marine Corps Base Hawaii. April 2001, became an enlisted aircrewman and flew the C-20 as a Loadmaster/NATOPS Instructor supporting OIF.
December 2004, served as a canvassing recruiter and Officer Selection Assistant/SNCOIC at RS San Francisco. January 2009, joined the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing as the Training and Readiness SNCOIC. April 2009, served with Marine Aircraft Group 40 and deployed to Camp Leatherneck as the Operations Chief and Squadron Gunnery Sergeant supporting OEF.
May 2011, transferred to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. Served as the Airfield Operations Chief, Station Operations Chief, and UC-12W Transport Assistant NATOPS Instructor.
June 2017, transferred to Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Forces Command in Norfolk, VA as the G-7 Force Development Chief and Air Tasking Control Operations Officer.
June 2023, transferred to Marine Corps University as the Deputy Director, Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Academy, Quantico, VA.
Personal awards include Meritorious Service Medal second award, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal second award, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal forth award, and Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
Bachelor of Science with honors in Business Administration and Master of Science with distinction in Project Management.
