Mr. Ronald L. Reese

With 40 years of dedicated experience in the logistics field, Ronald (Ron) Reese has developed a robust expertise in supporting the logistics requirements of Marine Corps University and Education Command. His career began with 24 years of service as a logistician for the United States Marine Corps, serving as the Principal Logistics Officer for the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, 6th  Marine Regiment, 31st MEU (SOC), 28th MEU, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, US Marine Detachment WATC/UNITAS, 1st Battalion 8th Marine Regiment, the Platoon Commander for the 5th Air Delivery Platoon and Headquarters Battalion, Henderson Hall where he also served as the Executive Officer. He served on the Secretary of the Navy’s principal staff. 

In addition to his logistics background, he attended the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and served as the Psychological Operations Officer and the Information Operations Operations Officer for I MEF during OIF.  

His last assignments on active duty were as an instructor at Marine Corps University, where he received the Rose Award for outstanding faculty, and as the Director of Facilities and Logistics. 

While serving as the Director of Facilities and Logistics, he oversaw the development of the first Facilities Master Plan for the University, the development and construction of Warner Hall and the SNCOA at Camp Lejeune. He recently revalidated the Facilities Master Plan to reflect the changes to Marine Corps University and the university campus over the sixteen years since the original master plan. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cameron University. He has professional certificates in Supply Chain Management from Penn State University and the University of North Carolina. He also has a certificate in Lean/Six Sigma. 

This combination of extensive experience and educational background positions him as a highly skilled professional in the field of logistics.
