Ms. Stephanie Aiello is the Institutional Effectiveness Specialist at the Marine Corps University. She joined MCU in 2021 and supports the activities of the Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning (IRAP) office. Her area of expertise includes survey design and data analysis for Professional Military Education (PME) to support Marine Corps education policies and procedures, an integral component of the university’s accreditation process.
Ms. Aiello’s diverse experience brings a wealth of knowledge to MCU. Prior to transitioning to the military education sector, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Mary Washington in 2014. She was also a public relations intern at Stafford Junction and volunteered her time at the National Museum of the Marine Corps as a hospitality ambassador.
From 2015-2019, she served as the Public Affairs Systems (PAS) lead logistician responsible for the fielding and lifecycle management of public affairs equipment, as well as New Equipment Training (NET) on cameras, satellite terminals, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices. In 2017, Ms. Aiello supported the Assistant Portfolio Manager for Program Management (APfM-PM) as a program analyst, successfully developing assessment reports to track acquisition milestones for Command Element Systems (CES). Concurrently, she led the Command and Control Systems (C2S) and Communications Systems (CS) admin/operations team before moving on to support Expeditionary Communications (EXCOMM) during the development of the Military Global Positioning (GPS) User Equipment (MGUE). In 2020, she joined Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) as the Consolidated Emergency Response System (CERS) logistician, providing critical IT solutions to emergency first responders at Marine Corps installations. During this 4-year timeframe, she earned seven performance awards for her hard work and dedication.
