Major David Grant is the Course Director for the Doctrine Course at the Expeditionary Warfare School. He is a Combat Engineer Officer by trade having experience throughout the MAGTF. He most recently served in staff roles at 2d Combat Engineer Battalion as the executive officer and operations officer. Other fleet operation experience was as a platoon commander and company commander at 2d Combat Engineer Battalion, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, and Combat Logistics Battalion 8 respectively. His supporting establishment tours consisted of recruiting duty as an Officer Selection Officer and a Faculty Advisor at Expeditionary Warfare School. He attended Expeditionary Warfare School as a resident student and has a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Pre-Law from Trinity International University, a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from Marshall University, and a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from Naval Command and Staff College, Naval War College.
