Narrator: When the Adversary Template is adjusted for weather and terrain, the pursuit of a particular COA, and other effects of the battlepace, it becomes a Situation Template. It shows how enemy forces might deviate from doctrine to accommodate the realities of geography, weather-generated obstacles, and a host of other battlespace effects. The situation Template focuses on the enemy's activities within specific mobility corridors of an avenue of approach. It graphically represents how the enemy's formations might have to adjust to move, shoot, and communicate within the corridors. There may be more than one Situation template to depict enemy locations and formations at various times. Normally situation Templates depict enemy units two levels down and critical points in the COA.
