Narrator: The MCOO depicts the military effects of the terrain. The analysis may include lines of communication, or LOCs, built-up areas, bridge and ford classifications, cover and concealment, observations and fields of fire, key and decisive terrain, landing zones and drop zones, obstacles, artillery positions, mobility corridors, trafficability for various vehicle types, avenues of approach, defensible terrain, engagement areas, cultural factors and civil infrastructure.
