Narrator: An Adversary Template shows how the enemy's doctrine dictates its approach to a particular tactical situation, without considering terrain and weather constraints. An Adversary Template depicts nominal composition, frontage, depth, organization, formation, and disposition. It aids analysts in determining the location of enemy units, weapons, equipment, boundaries and control measures when assessing the actual enemy force. It can also identify gaps in intelligence for the collection plan. In irregular warfare it will focus on pattern analysis, or the tracking, analyzing, and identifying specific trends, such as modes of operation or population support, over time.
