Profile:

Major Jacob received his commission through the PLC Program. Upon completing The Basic School and Infantry Officer Course, Major Jacob reported to 3d Battalion, 9th Marines, 2d Marine Division, aboard Camp Lejeune, NC in April of 2010. During this time, he served as Rifle Platoon Commander, Lima Company, and Executive Officer, Weapons Company and deployed twice in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Following this assignment, Major Jacob reported to The Basic School where he served as Warfighting Instructor, Staff Platoon Commander, and instructor at Infantry Officer Course from August 2013 to December 2016. Major Jacob then reported to 1st Battalion, 3d Marines, 3d Marine Division, Marine Corps Base Hawaii where he served as Weapons Company Commander and Headquarters and Service Company Commander from December 2016 to June 2019. Following two Forward Deployed Forces-Hawaii Deployments, Major Jacob reported to Marine Corps University to serve as Faculty Advisor at Expeditionary Warfare School.

Major Jacob holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from James Madison University.
