Supervisory Special Agent Christopher Hartley is the FBI Chair within the Command and Staff College at the Marine Corps University. SSA Hartley began his career as a Special Agent in 2002 and was assigned to the Seattle Division where he worked Counterintelligence Matters. He was promoted to a SSA position in 2014 at the FBI Academy where he supervised and instructed new Agents and Analysts. SSA Hartley also taught Leadership courses to policing executives for the FBI National Academy. SSA Hartley was promoted to his current position in 2019, where he teaches an elective on Leadership for CSC. Additionally, SSA Hartley is an adjunct faculty at MCU for the College of Distance Education and Training. Prior to joining the FBI, SSA Hartley served in the Army (Sergeant/E-5) from 1995 to 1999, with assignments at the Defense Language Institute and Schofield Barracks.
