ACTIVITIES
Narrator: After orders reconciliation, the staff performs the external orders review process of "orders crosswalk." This is when the staff compares its order with the orders of higher, adjacent, and subordinate commanders to achieve unity of effort and ensure the superior commander's intent is met. Similarly, transition briefs and drills, and confirmation briefs performed during the transition step help ensure subordinate units nest within the senior order or plan.
