5-39 Initial WG Activities

Narrator: Typically, wargaming begins with these initial activities. First, the facilitator identifies H-Hour for the war game’s starting point. The red cell and friendly force commander will have their situation overlays at H-Hour on the war game map. Next, the red cell points out the locations, missions and activities of his forces as of H-Hour. The green cell provides civilian considerations as warranted. The event template and matrix, provided by the G-2, are used to identify friendly intelligence collection activities.
