5-2 COA WG Diagram

Narrator: COA Wargaming is a detailed assessment of each COA against the enemy and the battlespace. Friendly COAs are wargamed against selected threat COAs to identify strengths and weaknesses, associated risks, and asset shortfalls. COA wargaming also identifies branches and potential sequels that may require additional planning. This lesson segment explains the injects, activities, and results of the COA Wargaming step. The items shown in bold highlight the personal involvement of the commander.
