Narrator: COA Wargaming is the next step of the Marine Corps Planning Process. Its purpose is to examine and refine the commander’s options in light of enemy capabilities and potential actions and reactions, to improve the plan. Wargaming tests friendly COAs against enemy COAs to generate data for the Commander's consideration. It also highlights other factors within the operational environment such as the local population and how it may respond to friendly and enemy activities and interactions.
