1-17 G-5 Role

The G-5 Future Plans Division focuses on the battle after next to provide a link between higher headquarters and the future operations section. Upon receipt of a mission from higher headquarters, Future Plans initiates the MEF's planning process by assisting the commander with initial design and developing an outline plan.
