Narrator: CCIRs either assist the commander in maintaining situational awareness, facilitate planning, or assist in timely and accurate decision- making. Here are three possible MEF CCIRs for operation Barbary Sword.

MEF CCIRs:

Is the Libyan WOG posturing for an attack? When? Where?
Where are the logistic support areas for the WOG located?
Where are the WOG's C2 nodes and what are their frequencies?

Commander's Significant Notification Events (CSNEs): are also identified and tracked that will demand more information from the chain of command as well as the media on serious incidents, acts, or allegations requiring commander's immediate notification.
