1-24a COA Wargaming

Narrator: Course of action wargaming is a detailed assessment of each COA against the enemy within a given battlespace. Each COA is wargamed against selected threat COAs and possible populace actions to identify strengths and weaknesses, associated risks, and asset shortfalls. COA wargaming also identifies potential branches and sequels that may require additional planning. Short of actually executing the course of action, COA Wargaming provides the most reliable basis for understanding and improving each COA. Review injects, activities, and results of COA Wargaming.
