1-8 Integrated Planning

Narrator: The Marine Corps achieves synergy by integrating the contributions of each of the seven warfighting functions in battle. The key to integrated planning is assignment of appropriate personnel from each warfighting functions, from major subordinate commands, and from special staffs to the planning effort. In many instances, you will want to consider having representatives from adjacent commands assist in the planning process as well. For irregular warfare operation planning, logical lines of operation such as governance, economic, information and security may over arch the battlefield functions and require assistance from other organizations and agencies to accomplish.
