Kate Kuehn joined Marine Corps University as the Director of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Planning in 2017. In this capacity, she supports the development, design, and integration of assessment for the university’s professional military education and graduate programs. She also manages the university’s institutional effectiveness process and the recently established cross-functional Institutional Effectiveness Working Group.
Prior to joining MCU, she served as the Director of Academic Staff and Assessment at the College of International Security Affairs, National Defense University. Ms. Kuehn’s early career focused on policy analysis, establishing metrics for assessing policy impact, and applying quantitative and qualitative tools.
Ms. Kuehn holds a Master of Arts from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Education Research Methodology at George Mason University.
